How to sign up, the required documents, and admission criteria for the online platform
Dubai: If you have always wanted to learn or improve your Arabic, Al Qasimia University now offers a free online platform designed specifically for non-native speakers. Launched on January 16, as part of the university’s initiative to promote Arabic language learning within the community, the ‘Mubeen’ platform combines self-paced e-learning tools with structured courses tailored to various proficiency levels.
The ‘Mubeen’ platform, managed by Al Qasimia University’s Language Centre, provides comprehensive educational materials across seven levels - from beginner to advanced. In addition to the courses, the platform offers:
Computerised Arabic language proficiency tests.
Accredited electronic certificates for successful learners.
The programme uses remote learning methods, allowing students to progress at their own pace.
To enrol in the ‘Mubeen’ Arabic learning programme, follow these steps:
Register on the official website: mubeen.alqasimia.ac.ae
Fulfil the admission requirements.
Applicants must hold a high school diploma (minimum 12 years of education, including three secondary-level years).
A placement test in Arabic is required before completing the admission process.
Applicants must confirm they have not been expelled from any university or higher education institution for academic or disciplinary reasons.
The minimum age for applicants is 16 years.
To complete your application, you will need:
High school diploma: An attested copy from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the UAE Embassy in your country. If no UAE Embassy exists, use the embassy of an Arab country.
Translated certificates: Non-Arabic or non-English certificates must be translated by a certified translator.
Eligibility letter: A letter from the Ministry of Education in the country where your high school diploma was issued, confirming eligibility for government universities.
Application form: Completed with up-to-date information.
Passport copy: Valid for at least two years.
Photograph: A recent, coloured passport-sized photo (3x4 cm) with a white background.
Good conduct certificate: From your country of nationality, translated into Arabic or English.

After completing the application form and uploading the required documents, submit your application. Al Qasimia University reviews applications to ensure they meet the programme’s requirements. However, fulfilling the requirements does not guarantee acceptance, as admissions depend on the university’s policies and resource availability.
