Dubai: Step back in time and experience the rich heritage of Abu Dhabi at the Al Hosn Festival, an annual celebration of the Emirate's culture held at Al Hosn, home to the city’s most treasured historic landmark, Qasr Al Hosn. Visitors can immerse themselves in the traditions of the Emirati community, from renowned hospitality and cuisine to traditional attire, customs, performances, and crafts.

A historic setting

Qasr Al Hosn, the venue for this cultural festival, is Abu Dhabi's oldest and most significant building. It houses the city’s first permanent structure - a watchtower built in the 1790s. Overlooking coastal trade routes, this commanding structure served to protect the burgeoning settlement on the island and remains a symbol of the city’s heritage.
