The Streets, James Walsh to play in Dubai in March

Dubai: Mike Skinner, aka British rapper The Streets, will perform in Dubai in March as part of a new concert series at Barasti aimed at bringing young musical talent to the city.

The series, called Livin’ The Music, will start on February 25 with an acoustic performance by Starsailor frontman James Walsh and US pop star Eric Hutchinson. The Streets will perform the second concert in the series on March 18.

“People keep telling us to bring some of the new and upcoming artists that don’t normally play in the Middle East, so here’s your chance to see some great artists performing on one of Dubai’s finest beaches for what is a really great ticket price,” said Thomas Ovesen, COO Done Events, the event organisers.
