Bollywood's sought after musical trio, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy (SEL), are all set for their first-ever show in Abu Dhabi on December 16.
At their show, the trio will lead a ten-piece band including Indian's premier drummer, Darshan Doshi, in a performance of their greatest soundtracks from hits such as Kal Ho Na Ho and Dil Chahta Hai.
"We are all very excited and looking forward to performing at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi. We have some of India's top, award winning musicians with us, and we really will make Abu Dhabi rock. The live stage offers a new dimension for us," said Shankar Mahadeven in a statement. Their concerts are a blend of Indian classical sounds blended with modern rock fused with electronic influences.
The tickets for SEL's ‘The Kings of Bollywood' concert, presented by ADNEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company), start at Dh95 and are available online at www.boxofficeme.com. In addition, tickets are also available at select Choithram's Supermarkets, Sangeetha restaurants, and Al Mansoor Video stores across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, as well as at the Sind Punjab restaurant in Dubai.
A bus service will operate from Karama (opposite Lulu Supermarket) in Dubai to ADNEC, enabling Dubai-based SEL fans to travel to the concert and back. Return tickets cost Dh60 and can be purchased from www.boxofficeme.com
