Dubai The UAE’s garden city has a new attraction: Aloft Al Ain.

Located within the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium Complex, the property belongs to the Marriott hotel chain and overlooks one of the UAE’s tallest mountains — Jebel Hafeet.

With its luxurious rooms, fine service and a touch of elegance, this new hotel stands out.

In the heart

Hazza Bin Zayed Complex is situated right in the centre of the city. Almost all tourist attractions including Shaikh Zayed’s Palace Museum, Al Ain Oasis and Al Ain Zoo are located within a 15-kilometre radius from the hotel.

The rooms are spacious with large windows overlooking the bustling complex. The decor is a good mix of quirky and vibrant that will lift your mood instantly. The rooms are welcoming, literally — the curtains read ‘Welcome’ in nearly 30 languages!

The hotel has a lively Rooftop Lounge that offers tantalising food and beverage options, while you take in the panoramic views of the Jebel Hafeet and enjoy the cool breeze.

Al Ain is usually 10-15 degrees cooler than other emirates and has a tolerant humidity level (the temperature in the evenings there last weekend was 26 degrees celsius).

Guests also have the option of watching their favourite sporting action at the W XYZ sports bar.

The bar has a casual setting with indoor and outdoor seating options. The Olive Tree dining bistro is also a great option to satisfy your palate. The seafood here is definitely a must try. Olive Tree also serves breakfast.

The hotel has a 24-hour gym, free Wi-Fi and parking.

And before you head back to the city, drive down to Wadi Adventure to get your adrenaline boost. This park is located just 20 minutes away from the hotel.
