2012 model will receive more LEDs, daytime lights, and slight revisions to the front and rear bumpers

In dog years, age seven is getting on a bit. In car years, age seven means you’re on the death bed. But BMW’s F01 generation 7 Series is merely three years old now, so what does that mean?
Midlife facelift, of course.
Preparing to roll out the updated 7er in time for the 2012 model year, BMW has lately
been spotted testing the new car baring yet more skin. And though it looks like only a cosmetic update, there’s more to get excited about.
The 2012 7 Series will receive more LEDs, daytime lights, and slight revisions to the front and rear bumpers, plus new wheel designs.
The flagship remains the V12 model, but BMW’s adding a six-cylinder 740i with as much as 350bhp.
Our spy also managed to snag a pic of the interior, with a wider iDrive display.
