Dubai’s finest kitchens just faced their ultimate taste test — and the results are in.

On Thursday evening, May 22, the Michelin Guide unveiled its 2025 Dubai edition at a dazzling, invite-only affair — and let’s just say, not every restaurant made it to dessert.

Now in its fourth edition, this isn’t your average night of culinary back-patting. It’s the food world’s fiercest stage, where Michelin stars are awarded, reputations are sealed, and the city’s top chefs discover if they’ll soar or simmer down.

Tresind Studio wins big

Tresind Studio, Indian restaurant, took three prestigious awards at the Michelin 2025 Dubai awards.

“This has not been a 100 foot journey but a marathon … I dedicate this award to my country and countrymen,” said chef Himanshu Saini of Tresind Studio.

Tresind Studio isn't the only restaurant to shine bright. For the first time, three Michelin Stars 2025 Dubai was awarded to modern European fine dining With Japanese influences at Atlantis Dubai FZN by Bjorn Frantzen.

“I came to Dubai 16 years ago. It feels unreal. I want to thank the whole culinary community for this three star honour,” said team of FZN as they took home the red plaque.

So what’s the big deal about a Michelin star? Originally launched in 1900 by the French tire company to get drivers on the road — and eating along the way — the Michelin Guide has evolved into the global gold standard of culinary excellence. A single star means great food worth a stop. Two stars? It’s worth going out of your way for. But three stars? That’s rarefied air — the kind of food worth booking a flight for.

And in a city as dynamic and daring as Dubai, where gastronomy collides with glamour, those stars mean more than ever. Here's a list of winners ...
