Nine-time Grammy Award winner Mary J. Blige will sing the national anthem before Game 1 of the World Series.
The St Louis Cardinals and the Boston Red Sox open on Wednesday night at Fenway Park.
Blige also performed The Star-Spangled Banner before Game 6 of the 2009 World Series between Philadelphia and the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium.
