Woodstock Villa
Various Artistes
Following the pattern of his earlier films Kaante, Musafir and Shootout at Lokhandwala, the soundtrack of Sanjay Gupta's latest film Woodstock Villa presents a contemporary fare with immense appeal.

With composers such as Anu Malik, Mika Singh, Bappa Lahiri and Shibani Kashyap pooling in, the album is a mixed bag in the truest sense.

With her sensuous, husky voice, Anchal Datta Bhatia ensures that the opening number Ek Dhokha Dijiye, is an energetic club dance track. Mika Singh elevates the club sounds with Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag – a catchy, folksy number with western arrangements. However, Aryans' Kyun remains a passable rock song, while Shibani Kashyap's two thematic songs – Raakh Ho Jaa and Dhokha Dega – are intriguing to say the least.

Shaan and Anchal's melodious romantic track Yeh Pyar Hai, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's moody number Koi Chala Jaa Raha Hai are the best songs on the album. Overall, Woodstock Villa is an album worth listening to.
