Finally, a supermarket in Jumeirah Golf Estates

Dubai: Residents of Jumeirah Golf Estates are heaving a sigh of relief after the locality’s first supermarket opened this week.

“In the past I had to drive down to DIP or Motor City for my grocery needs, but with the opening of the Marketplace by Choithrams I won’t have to do that anymore,” says Parastu Sanghi.

Irish expat Emily Clark, who is new to Dubai, says it’s great to have a convenient option closer home. “I am not familiar with the roads yet and it was difficult to get our daily supplies.”

Marketplace, located near the Golf Estates Clubhouse, offers a range of fresh products and has an in-house bakery.

Spread over two floors, the store also has a laundry and stitch services desk.
