Yousef Al Jasmi to make Fashion Forward debut
Kuwaiti designer and Hollywood A-list designer will take part in Season Five of bi-annual Dubai showcase
Taylor Swift’s worn him. So has Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Nicole Schezinger and Paris Hilton. And now Kuwaiti designer Yousef Al Jasmi is all set to take the UAE by storm when he makes his Fashion Forward debut on April 11.
Al Jasmi, who began designing at the age of 17, launched his first boutique in his home country in 2008. His signature flair, heavy on embellishments, has been part of his bridal, ready-to-wear and couture collections over the years. And they’ve been lapped up Hollywood-side, with A-listers such as Gaga and Hilton wearing his creations on a regular basis.
The designer also has a long list of Arab celebrity clients: From Shirine Abdulwahab to May Hariri and Diana Karazone.
