For PETA’s campaign to link the amount of water the meat industry uses with the world water crisis, Vivienne Westwood wears a shower cap and pink make-up while explaining: “I am an eco-warrior, but I take long showers with a clean conscience because I’m vegetarian.” She adds: ‘By avoiding meat, you do more for the environment than [by] recycling or driving a hybrid car.’
