Harvey Nichols – Dubai is giving men a bigger and better reason to shop – a refurbished 9,000 sq feet reason. The menswear department now spans 90 per cent of the top floor of the store, with new sections such as a fragrance and grooming lounge and a dedicated accessories area.

Here are the five things to look out for:


1. A new fragrance and grooming lounge

Shop for grooming products on the same floor as your clothes. Products include men’s skincare and shaving brands Jet Black, Refinery and Gentlemen’s Tonic.

2. Dedicated accessories area

Accessories get more love with their own section in the new one. New brands include Sama Eyewear and Taylor Morris eyewear. This is also the only place in Dubai you can buy D1 Milano products.

3. Brand exclusives

In addition to existing brands, there will be new brands such as UK hand-printed t-shirt brand Black Score (exclusive to the UAE); streetwear labels MHRS by Thomas ‘Tomakira’ Li and Haculla; the art-inspired fashion brand Passarella Death Squad; the edgy This is Not a Clothing; and Berlin-based high-end label AMH.

4. Boys’ Toys area

All the big boys, there’s a new section just for you. Harvey Nichols has collaborated with Denaster, a supplier of high-end tech products. Brands include Anki, a car-racing game, complete with an interactive track, and Parrot headphones and drones.

5. Personal shopping

For those that can’t be bother to make their own fashion choices (not judging you at all), the personal shopping area is still there with the dressing room space complete with sofas and flat screen TV. The service is free of charge, with no minimum spend.
