Gavin Degraw
Gavin Degraw

Gavin DeGraw's been around a while and we're not sure why he isn't at the frontlines of the pop world yet. The guy makes some pretty good pop music. He writes his own songs; plays the guitar and piano; and has a fairly decent voice. He really should be a lot bigger than he is. Hopefully, this album's first single and opening track In Love With A Girl will change all that. It's all a bit Maroon 5-ish, but still worth listening to.

Songbird
Kenny G
Everyone's favourite jazz saxophonist Kenny G returns with his 2008 offering, Songbird. With all of his most popular hits, including title track Songbird, the album also features the Titanic theme My Heart Will Go On and the theme from Dying Young. Additionally, there are various collaborations including the ones with Louis Armstrong (What A Wonderful World) and Peabo Bryson (By The Time This Night Is Over).

Home Before Dark
Neil Diamond

The iconic musician's new album features 12 new, original tracks including Pretty Amazing Grace and If I Don't See You Again. What we found surprising, scandalising even, while doing our research is that Home Before Dark is the singer's first US chart-topper. And he's been making music for 40 years. This alone says a lot about this album. The style is contemporary pop, with a tinge of country thrown in for good measure.
