Dave Matthews Band coming to Abu Dhabi

Dave Matthews Band might have sold the most concert tickets of any band in the world (19 million), but until now, they’ve never given UAE fans the chance to contribute to that honour.

That will change in October this year, when the two-decades-old band not only perform in the country, but launch their world tour here.

The rock band founded in Virginia, US, kick off their 2015 world tour at the du Arena on October 8, before heading to Europe for a 20-date schedule.

It’s their UAE debut and organisers Flash Entertainment say it will be a one-show-only performance. The show will follow their “two-set” formula that they launched with huge success last summer in the US.

Right now, the band is recording the follow up to 2012’s Away From The World, with producer Rob Cavallo.
