Eid Al Adha is here and if you're wondering how to keep the little ones entertained (and off their screens), we've got you covered. From morning thrills to evening chills, the UAE is bursting with kid-friendly adventures this festive break. So, if your child’s idea of fun is splashing through a waterpark, meeting rainforest creatures, or staying up late to watch fireworks light up the sky, these five must-do experiences promise smiles from sunrise to bedtime.

1) Expo City

From June 6 to 8, Expo City turns into a wonderland for kids under 12 — and it’s absolutely free! Children can dive into three exciting attractions: Terra, Alif, and Vision. They can travel through time and space, discovering the secrets of the planet’s oceans and forests, or stepping into a future shaped by innovation, these interactive exhibits promise hours of fun, learning, and adventure.

2) Madame Tussauds

Starting Wednesday, June 4, it’s buy one, bring one (small human) free at Madame Tussauds. With every adult ticket, one child gets in at no extra cost — making it the perfect excuse for a midweek celebrity selfie spree. From tennis champions to red carpet royalty, the wax squad’s ready for their close-up… are you?

3) Ski Dubai at Mall of the Emirates

Looking for a cool way to celebrate Eid with the children? From June 5 to 8, Ski Dubai’s Eid Pass (Dh335) is your ticket to a full day of snowy fun! Your children can enjoy unlimited access to the Snow Park and chairlift, sip on a cosy hot chocolate, and choose one epic experience, whether it’s meeting the apenguins, zooming through the air on the Snow Bullet zipline, or hitting the slopes for some beginner-friendly skiing or snowboarding. Winter magic in the middle of summer? Yes, please!

4) Times Square Centre

From Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8, Times Square Centre transforms into a fun-filled hub for kids, and the best part is, it’s all free. Expect a lively line-up featuring Magic Phil’s crowd-favourite live show, teddy bear workshops, face painting, storytelling sessions, and even a cheerful sing-along or two. Watch your child getting creative, laughing along with a show, or joining in a song, there’s something for everyone.

  • Free entry | June 6–8
    Centre hours: Mon–Thu 10am–10pm | Fri–Sun 10am–11pm
Location: Times Square Centre, Al Quoz

5) Dubai Parks and Resorts and The Green Planet Dubai

This Eid Al Adha, treat the kids to a holiday they won’t forget — packed with thrills, splashes, and wild adventures. Watch them screaming with joy on theme park rides, wandering through a tropical rainforest, or racing down water slides, there’s something for every little explorer. Head to Dubai Parks and Resorts for rides, music, fireworks, and laser shows, cool off at Wild Wadi Waterpark, or take a walk on the wild side at The Green Planet — Dubai’s indoor rainforest where the rainforest meets the city.
