So what’s new this year?
As always, we have quality boats on display that are all very well maintained and serviced. There will also be an interesting selection of participants displaying boating equipment alongside a variety of retail participants showcasing a host of outdoor lifestyle accessories. For example, Adventure HQ will have a large Rope Quest and trampoline at the event for thrill seekers to enjoy. Deep Blue Sea Diving joins the show displaying its unique Sea Breacher. It gives visitors an opportunity to try jet packing as well.
Why should one visit the show?
Besides being a hub for buyers, the event promises to be a fantastic family day out. Do look out for the entertainment on the F&B island which also provides a beautiful platform to watch the Dragon Boat Festival, the stand up paddle race and the sunset.
What are the merits of investing in a pre-owned boat vis-à-vis a new one?
The snags list that comes with new boats can be avoided. For example, pre-owned boats come with more equipment on board compared to new boats. The depreciated price of the vessel makes buying a boat more affordable, the waiting period on a new boat to be built is also avoided. You can even ask for a test drive/sea trial to ensure you are comfortable with the boat’s performance before purchasing it.
