Dubai Dolphinarium

Why go?

1) Dubai Dolphinarium have re-opened their doors after a summer break with brand new routines in the spectacular dolphin and seal shows, which will include their dolphin Ksyusha performing the tail walking, Jerry and Fekla juggling with balls, Senya dancing a twist and you can’t miss the playful northern fur seals singing, playing hula-hoop and much more.

2) As well as watching the shows you can also get up close to the most intelligent marina animals in the world and swim with the dolphins. Swim with the famously friendly animals, where you will enjoy 20 minutes in them water; there are mixed sessions for Dh550 per person, or treat yourself and enjoy a private session for Dh2,100 for up to three people. You can swim with the dolphins in sessions at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm, from Monday to Thursday.

3) There is also a 5D cinema, where you don’t just watch a movie, but feel everything that’s happening on screen. The kids will absolutely love the five minute long short-films about everything from alien safaris to paradise rollercoasters and subzero, Arctic life. It’s the only one of its kind in the UAE and tickets for the cinema is Dh20 entry per person.

Why go?

1) This week you can enjoy a delicious a la carte menu Korean menu at The Market Café, the fest will be cooked up by guest chefs Kigin Nam and Taesam Yoon who are flying in from the Grand Hyatt Seoul.

2) Have you ever tried Koran food before? The special promotion will be a chance to try out a cuisine that you might not have had a chance to sample yet, with a menu featuring Korean specialities such as Bibimbap (a delicious mixed beef, rice and egg dish), Bulgogi (marinated and barbequed meat, usually made with beef or chicken) and Grilled Galbi (beef short ribs marinated in Korean soy sauce before being grilled).

Latino Night at PAX Romana

For a little bit of Latino flair head to the Dusit Thani’s Pax Romana, where you can sample delicious South American cuisine, while enjoying the lively Latino beats in the background and amazing views of the Dubai skyline. Creamfields 2012

The most popular dance festival in the world is coming back to Abu Dhabi this December, with eight hours of dance music madness hitting the capital. Two of the most famous DJs in the world, David Guetta and Armin Van Buuren, have already been announced as headliners and we’ve been assured that there are plenty more big names to come.

There are a limited number of early bird tickets, which are for over 18s only, on sale for just Dh195, so act quickly because when they all run out general admission will be going up to Dh275, and all over 21 VIP standing tickets are Dh595, plus all Formula 1 ticket holders will get 20 per cent of ticket prices.

Loaded Vs We Are Your Friends

This special one-off, mid-month Loaded event is taking things in a different direction, the popular indie night will be celebrating all things electro, playing indie/electro hits and French House tunes. Lil Jon Live At Nasimi

Hip hop legend and the man behind all things crunk is flying into Dubai for a one of gig at Nasimi Pool. Expect him to play a few of his new tunes, including Summer En France and his LMFAO collaboration, Drink, and we’re sure he’ll throw in a few of his well known classic hits on the night, we’ll be listening for Get Low and Act A Fool. On the night Nasimi regulars Dj Teddy Jam and DJ David Craig will also be hitting the decks, among others.
