The two months prior to going on holiday are always spent laboriously scanning the ‘Just Arrived’ section of online shopping pages and traipsing the length and breadth of almost every mall across the Emirate.
It’s just typical female holiday fever, right?
Usually stuck in my ways I’m always inclined to scroll through the websites of British brands… ASOS, Topshop, Net-A-Porter, Missguided, River Island…ASOS, Topshop, Net-a-porter, Missguided, River Island… and so the daily ritual continues.
If anything, I am loyal to the cause.
However, pre-Thailand/Hong Kong I decided to take myself outside of my comfort zone and look further afield for my holiday wardrobe.
Cue the numerous dramatic episodes. What size do I order from a new website? Will the quality be good? Can I trust the delivery expectations? And, of course the million dollar question, will the outfit look on me how it looks on the model?
Determined as ever, I decided to overcome my ‘ordering from a new website’ phobia and how glad am I that I did.
Stumbling across Australian brand Sabo Skirt I decided it was worth a scan through their website.
Playsuits, shorts, cute strappy vests and girlie summer dresses galore. Three words girls… HOLIDAY OUTFIT GOLD!
I instantly fell in love with almost every piece on their website and was far from disappointed when they arrived just in time to add the finishing touches to my suitcase
