In between seasons is a great time to go shopping. There are lots of sales going on for those looking for a bargain, while other more forward-thinking ladies, can start planning for their autumn fashion. This autumn we are letting go of some ridiculous trends, including see-through plastic shoes, clothes and bags, and also those crazy tiny sunglasses that everyone loves to hate (except for Kanye West, who made it a point to tell Kim never to wear big sunglasses). Bless him… not.

Here are four pieces I have my eye on for autumn.

1. It girl boots to walk around in

I am a sucker for amazing booties. This Kurt Geiger signature style was launched a few years ago. They were a favourite of model Kendal Jenner, who was photographed wearing these boots quite a bit. This season, the London Stride boots are presented in several colours, perfect for a more versatile wardrobe. The best part of this effortlessly cool boot, is that the heel is chunky, which makes it more comfortable to walk around with.

2. Leopard print

This print will make a comeback this autumn as we step away from the colour-blocking of summer. Wear this light print top with muted colours, so it can stand out as your statement piece. Big designers like Calvin Klein, Balenciaga and more sent out tonnes of animal-printed looks out for the next season.

3. Metallics

In the last fashion week, many designers reminded us about the power of metallic and how chic they can make any outfit look. This gorgeous dress can work with both heels and comfortable white flats.

4. Big sunnies

Enough with the tiny sunglasses trend! Let’s go back to a bolder trend that is more elegant and timeless. This autumn, we’re going back to the big shades. Many designers in the last fashion week, including Dior and Altuzarra, are proving that the best shades for the upcoming season are larger than life.
