Dubai: The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) Friday Surprise will return this weekend and budget-savvy shoppers are in for one of the biggest treats: 90 per cent off every single item they can get their hands on.

Probably the biggest offer so far this DSF season, this Friday’s flash sale will be at Salam Stores in City Centre Mirdif.

Shoppers will get to take home discounted items from luxury fashion brands, including Michael Kors, DKNY, Dolce & Gabbana, as well as beauty, homeware and lifestyle products.

However, the sale is valid for a very limited period: two hours, so bargain hunters need to act quickly.

‘[The store] is offering a whopping 90 per cent off all merchandise,” organisers said in a statement. The offer, however, is valid only from 10am to 12 noon, or until stocks run out.

Salam is a department store that retails luxury designer clothes, fashion brands, perfumes photography equipment, homeware, jewellery and accessories.

It offers merchandise from 300 luxury labels for men and women, including Armani Jeans, Cacharel, Cavalli Class, Dolce & Gabbana, Helmut Lang, Moschino, Polo Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, DKNY, Versace, Burberry, Fendi, Guess and many more.

The 23rd edition of DSF, which runs until 27 January, is organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism).

The citywide extravaganza aims to offer residents and visitors enriching shopping experiences, the chance to win life-changing prizes and access to a range of family-oriented entertainment.
