Jake Zyrus' Dubai concert cancelled

Dubai: The Dubai concert of international singing sensation Jake Zyrus, formerly known as Charice Pempengco, has been cancelled, the organiser told Gulf News on Monday.

Zyrus was scheduled to perform in the show dubbed Jake Zyrus Live in Dubai 2017 with Alagad Band on November 10 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

"It is with heavy heart and mind that due to unavoidable circumstances beyond our control we will have to cancel our show [sic]," Pulse International said in a statement to Gulf News.

"All those who purchased tickets will be contacted and given their refunds," the organiser said without elaborating.

Zyrus, who rose to popularity through YouTube, was dubbed by Oprah Winfrey as “the most talented girl in the world” and released the international studio album Charice in 2010.
