Korea’s legendary boy group H. O. T will hold their first concert in 17 years, since disbanding in 2001.

Last week, promoters confirmed that the iconic band will perform at Seoul’s Jamsil Olympic Stadium in October. The decision was based on nationwide buzz following their first public appearance as a group on popular variety show Infinity Challenge back in February.

H. O. T — an acronym for High-five Of Teenagers — debuted as a five-member act on 1996. SM Entertainment’s first boy group were considered the band to kick-off the K-Pop idol group trend. Tony An, Kangta, Moon Hee Jun, Jang Woo Hyuk and Lee Jae Won enjoyed immense popularity across Asia. They’ve released hits Candy, Full of Happiness, I Yah and We are the Future.

Since their disbandment, they’ve pursued solo activities and are frequently seen active in the Korean entertainment industry.
