Anupama Parameswaran cannot dodge her fans. “My eyes have always given me away,” laughed Parameswaran while talking about an incident when she visited a mall with a scarf tied as a mask.

“There was this guy who stopped to look at me, then walked away but came back soon to take a second look. He then asked me if I was Anupama and I just didn’t know what to say, when he said — “I can recognise those eyes anywhere.”

This is not one stray incident, added the Premam star, who misses being out on her own and doing things she loves.

Active on twitter, Parameswaran has a large fan following and feels blessed being loved by people who personally don’t know her.

Parameswaran is busy in Telugu cinema and after working in five Telugu films the Malayali actress is fluent in the language.

Tej I love You is her sixth Telugu film and directed by A. Karunakaran, the national award recipient for his debut film, Tholi Prema.

Parameswaran plays Nandini, an NRI who visits Hyderabad on a mission. Just like the bubbly characters she has essayed earlier, Nandini is “someone full of energy and a chatter box.”

Sai Dharam Tej romances Parameswarn onscreen. Tej plays an easygoing young man despite many arrears in college examinations.

About working with director Karunakaran, Parameswaran said, “Not only are his characters well detailed, Karunakaran sir would draw each scene for the actors, complete with every little thing he wanted in place. Seeing his vision on paper helped us understand his requirements. He also acted out the scenes.”

Gopi Sundar has scored music. Andrew is the cinematographer.

The supporting cast includes Surekha Vani, V.Jayaprakash and Viva Harsha.

It’s a family entertainer, assures Parameswaran, who is working on two more Telugu films. She will also make her Kannada debut with a film opposite none other than Puneeth Rajkumar.

Tej I love You produced by K.S. Rama Rao and Alexander Vallab releases in UAE on July 5.
