The Pakistan Wedding Show recently rolled out its second successful edition, with a two-day exhibit at the Lahore Expo.
A project by leading couturier Hasan Shehryar Yasin and Coca-Cola Pakistan, the event showcased “all things weddings” by more than 70 exhibitors that included Ali Xeeshan and SFK Bridals among others.
Model Mehreen Syed, who is also the spokesperson for Pakistan Wedding Show, said she was “thrilled to be representing this iconic platform. Weddings are a massive affair in Pakistan, and a wedding expo such as this one, which meets every need of a bride or wedding party… is the ultimate solution that for every bride to be.”
Exhibitors such as Toni&Guy offered deals on their bridal packages and display products.
Aside from shopping, visitors also got the chance to meet actors Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat, who had showed up on the occasion to promote their film, Load Wedding, which releases worldwide on Eid Al Adha. Later, prizes worth PKR 5.5 million (Dh163,283) were also given to winners from draws and competitions.
Following the Lahore edition, Pakistan Wedding Show is scheduled to go nationwide — in Islamabad (September 1 and 2) and Faisalabad (September 9).
