The makers of Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 recently released Tillay Wali Juti, which is supposed to be the film’s theme song and shall likely run with the end credits.
Sung by renowned folk artist Arif Lohar and Ahmad Ali Butt, who is also one of the film’s main actors, the track has an uplifting melody that is set to funky dhol beats.
It is composed by Hasil Kureshi and the video is especially interesting, as it brings together the film’s entire lead cast including Humayun Saeed, Kubra Khan, Mawra Hocane, Fahad Mustafa, Uzma Khan, Sarwat Gillani, Omer Shahzad, and Butt.
Lohar, best known for Jugni, also makes an appearance, with his staple ‘chimta’ (a desi percusiion instrument resembling tongs). The video is directed by Sohail Javed.
Produced under the banner of Salman Iqbal Films, ARY Films and Six Sigma Plus, JPNA 2 is one of the most anticipated movies due out on Eid Al Adha.
