Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh and Anil Kapoor let loose at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception on Tuesday night at the The Leela Mumbai.

The couple got married as per Sikh rites earlier in the morning.

Sonam, a Bollywood star and a known fashionista, opted for a modern chevron-patterned lehenga and cape by her favourite designer, Anamika Khanna.

Her husband and businessman, Ahuja, wore a black shervani by Raghavendra Rathore and paired it with Nike sneakers.

The party was a star-studded affair — with the creme de la creme of Bollywood part of it.

Actors and close friends of the Kapoors including Shah Rukh, Salman, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Singh graced the occasion.

As the stars sashayed down the red carpet, they stunned in creations by designers such as Manish Malhotra, Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla and Sabyasachi.

While Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor donned glamorous outfits by Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Rani Mukerji and Juhi Chawla wore Sabyasachi.

India’s richest man and the owner of Reliance Companies, Mukesh Ambani, along with wife Neeta Ambani, son Akash Ambani and daughter-in-law Shloka Mehta were also part of the post-wedding bash.

Politicians Amar Singh, Praful Patel and Uddhav Thackeray also attended the reception, which wrapped up the three-day gala.

The couple started the night by cutting a six layered custom-made cake by Sonam’s closet friend and founder of Le 15 patisserie, Pooja Dhingra. With a fusion of metallic colours, designs and textures, the cake was one of a kind.

Father of the bride and actor Anil Kapoor danced to his iconic songs such as My Name is Lakhan and Gallan Goodiyan, while Karan Johar grooved to Sonam’s famous song, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Singer Mika Singh gathered the crowd with his live performance. Shah Rukh, Salman, Ranveer and Anil along with the newly weds danced until the wee hours of Wednesday morning and made it a memorable night.

Sonam will soon be flying to French Riviera to walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on May 14 and May 15 as the L’Oreal India Brand Ambassador.
