Shah Rukh Khan arrived on stage to the sound of hundreds of fans screaming and chanting his name as he flew into Dubai for a brief visit for the inauguration of the new Kalyan Jewellers outlet in Meena Bazaar.
The Bollywood superstar entertained fans on stage with an impromptu dance from his hit Dil Se track Chaiyya Chaiyya, before breaking out some of his iconic dialogues from his films Raees and Don.
Addressing the hundreds of fans who braced the scorching afternoon temperatures to catch a glimpse of their idol, Khan apologised for running late, adding: “I am always happy to come back to Dubai and meet my fans here. The love I get here cannot be compared.”
The actor’s trademark humour was also very much in check as he joked that he hoped to return next time when the jewellery brand designed a collection for men as well.
Two fans were also picked from the crowd to match Khan’s steps in a brief dance interlude before the actor packed up to head to Kuwait for his next stop for the brand.
Before leaving, though, Khan did what he does best — entertain his fans with his trademark move of stretching his arms wide for a quick selfie before he exited, stage left.
