Ranveer Singh is tight-lipped about ‘Padmavati’
The film, reportedly set to star Deepika Padukone in the lead role, is about ruler Alauddin Khilji’s obsession with queen Padmavati
Actor Ranveer Singh on Monday declined to comment on his involvement with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming period drama, Padmavati.
Until a month ago, there were reports that Singh would reunite with his Bajirao Mastani director for Padmavati.
The latest rumour, however, is that Bhansali was unhappy after Singh asked for a bound script of the movie and the director decided to not sign the actor.
”Right now I’m not in position to comment on [Padmavati]. As soon as I know I will be the first person to inform [media].”
“My relationship with Bhansali is good. He has a beautiful smile,” he added.
