It's confirmed, popular TV host Willie Revillame will be back on TV in October, after being suspended by his former studio ABS CBN last August.

His show, titled Wiling Willie, will be aired on TV5 in October. Revillame's comeback is not the only thing on his mind, as he was slapped with a lawsuit by his former employer.

The case was filed by ABS CBN in response to a request from Revillame's camp for a judicial confirmation of his rescission of contract with the network.

In his petition, besides the court confirmation, Revillame also asked for 11.5 million pesos (estimated Dh990,000) in compensation.

ABS responded with a counter-claim of 486 million pesos.

TV5 head honcho, business tycoon Manuel V Pangilinan, CEO of Philippine telecommunications giant PLDT, confirmed TV5's partnership with Revillame.

Aside from Wiling Willie, another show to be aired by TV5, but produced by Revillame's own production company is a celebrity star search titled Born to be a Star.
