Dubai: South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan, who recently starred alongside Ajith Kumar in Good Bad Ugly, took to Instagram Stories with a strongly worded message for her detractors and trolls.

Without naming anyone or anything specific, she called out the toxic behaviour online, writing: “Shabaaaaaaa... Toxic people, how do you do life or even sleep? Sitting on social media and spewing nonsense — does that truly make your day? I feel genuinely sorry for you, and even more for those around you. Anonymous cowardice, indeed. God bless you all!”

Her post comes in the wake of Good Bad Ugly’s release, where Ajith’s performance received a warm response, but Trisha’s role didn’t resonate with everyone.

While she made no direct reference to the film or her critics, the timing of the post suggests she’s responding to the online flak coming her way.

Fans rallied behind her, with several Trisha fan accounts reposting her message across social media, calling it her bold response to the negativity.

Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, Good Bad Ugly is a tale of former gangster who returns to the world of crime after his son is falsely accused of drug trafficking.

The film also stars Arjun Das, Prasanna, Kaartikeya Dev, Prabhu, Priya Prakash Varrier, Sunil, Rahul Dev, Redin Kingsley, and Raghu Ram.

Good Bad Ugly marks Trisha’s latest collaboration with Ajith after films such as Kireedam, Mankatha, Yennai Arindhaal, and Vidaamuyarchi.
