What would you do if you found out that your boyfriend has been reading your diary?

Rating TBA
It's ironic that Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor's first romantic hit Jab We Met was released soon after they broke up. Since then, they haven't worked together. Now they are back with their much-delayed project Milenge Milenge, which is banking heavily on the fact that it could be the last time the two will be acting in a romantic movie together.
The plot
Priya (Kareena) is a die-hard romantic who believes in having a squeaky clean partner. During a youth festival in Bangkok, Priya meets Amit (Shahid) who doesn't match Priya's picture of a dream guy. But he learns about her desires after reading her diary and pretends to have the qualities she's looking for. Priya gets attracted to Amit but comes to find out what he has done and breaks up with him. Eventually Amit falls in love with Priya, but destiny has something else in store for them.
Cashing on real-life split
Usually, prior to a film's release the lead pair are always rumoured to be romantically linked but in the case of Milenge Milenge, it's the opposite. Producer Boney Kapoor is going all out to cash in on the lead pair's real-life break-up. Besides Milenge Milenge's plot has an uncanny resemblance to Shahid and Kareena's much-publicised split. As Milenge Milenge took five years to make, Boney could update his film with a new track by Himesh Reshammiya. The promotional video features only Shahid as Kareena refused to be part of any campaign where she had to pair with her ex-boyfriend
Overcoming issues
"I've no problems promoting Milenge Milenge. I'm committed to the film and will definitely support Boney," says Shahid. "I'm aware that a lot will be said about my past relationship with Bebo, but as professionals we need to keep personal issues aside."
