We all have our favourite places in Dubai, the ones we drag visiting family and friends to time and again. But are yours the same as the top Dubai spots chosen by some of the UAE’s famous faces?
Filmmaker Abdullah Al Kaabi, jewellery designer Nadine Kanso, food blogger Samantha Wood and DJ-girl-about-town Simone Heng have all been tapped by US channel CNN to share their Dubai must-dos in an upcoming episode of the channek’s CNNGo travel show.
Airing on Wednesday October 9, the foursome — all longtime Dubai residents — take viewers on an insider tour of the city, starting with Al Kaabi’s skydive over the Palm Jumeirah and desert tour. UAE-based band Juliana Down give a musical angle on the city with a recording session and performance in Al Quoz.
Heng explores Downtown Dubai, while Kanso, known for her Bil Arabi range, gives insight into the Gold Souk, and Wood lets viewers in on an Dubai food secret many may not be glad she’s shared. After all, the queues at beachfront fish shack Bu Qutair are long enough already...
