Dubai: The plots of Vinay Pathak's Challo Dilli and Pappu Can't Dance Saala may bear a striking resemblance, but the actor insists that the stories of two odd ball characters forming a bond are "entirely different".

Two contrasting personalities who come from different worlds and how they learn to get along is the premise of both two films.

Romantic

"Pappu Can't Dance Saala is a love story — a romantic one. Challo Dilli was a road film about two passengers who have to work together to reach a destination," said Pathak.

He was in Dubai along with his leading lady Neha Dhupia for the world premiere of their latest comedy Pappu Can't Dance Saala. Pathak, who is known for his off-beat roles in Khosla Ka Ghosla and Bheja Fry, plays an orthodox man from a small town in Benaras while Dhupia plays a city-toughened back-up dancer from Mumbai.

"I have waited all my career to get such a role. I spent days with Bollywood's back-up dancers to learn their mannerisms and their attitude towards life. It's fun film," said Dhupia.
