Lily Allen not offered role in ‘Game of Thrones', says brother

Actor Alfie Allen says his sister and singer Lily Allen’s claims that she was offered a role in the hit TV series Game Of Thrones is not true.

The 29-year-old singer had claimed last month that producers of the HBO show had offered her the role of Alfie’s character Theon’s soldier sister Yara.

However, Lily turned down the role due to an uncomfortable first scene between the two which saw Theon attempt to seduce the sister he hadn’t seen in years.

But Alfie has dismissed the comments, declaring that actress Gemma Whalen was always the first choice, reports dailymail.co.uk.

“The only thing I’m going to say on this is that’s not true,” he said about the role being offered to his sister earlier.
