Bollywood and TV producer says the ‘Chandra-Nandni’ actor is the small screen’s “blue-eyed boy”

TV czarina Ekta Kapoor has praised actor Rajat Tokas.
“Rajat isn’t only my blue eyed boy, he is the TV industry’s blue eyed boy. He is an extremely talented actor and with Rajat I know that he will do as much justice to Chandra as he has to all the characters he’s portrayed so far,” Kapoor said in a statement.
Tokas, who has been Kapoor’s favourite for many of her shows, will now be seen in Star Plus’s show Chandra-Nandni, where he is playing Chandragupta Maurya.
The channel is all set to bring forth the unknown saga of the mighty ruler and his wife, Nandni in this latest offering from the house of Balaji Telefilms.
The show stars Shweta Basu Prasad as Nandni.
