Mumbai: TV actor Aman Jaiswal, 23, died after a truck collided with his motorbike on Jogeshwari Road in Mumbai on Friday afternoon, police said.

Known for his lead role as 'Akash Bharadwaj' in Dhartiputra Nandini, Jaiswal was rushed to Cama Hospital but succumbed to his injuries within 30 minutes, according to media reports.

A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered against the truck driver, and an investigation is underway, police confirmed.

Writer Dhiraj Mishra and Jaiswal's close friend, Abhinesh Mishra, expressed shock over the incident, recounting how the actor’s journey ended abruptly on the highway.

A rising star in television, Jaiswal began his career as a model before transitioning to acting. His social media reflected his love for fitness and deep passion for the craft.
