American Idol host Ryan Seacrest says all previous judges of the singing reality show have agreed to return during its upcoming final season.

The long-running show is set to end after 15 seasons. Seacrest says he has been in contact with all of the panellists, past and present, to ensure they mark the end of the series, reports accesshollywood.com.

“I’ve spoken to all of them recently and we as a team have talked to them about coming back to do something for the final season,” Seacrest said.

“They are going to do it, it’s just a matter of figuring what to do with them,” he added.

The show kicked off with Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson as judges and had a number of other stars join over the years.

Among those who have been on the judging panel during its run are Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Ellen DeGeneres, Steven Tyler and Kara DioGuardi.

The final series will air in January, with judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. all returning from last season.
