‘The View’ host Shepherd to separate from husband

Court records show the husband of comedian and The View co-host Sherri Shepherd has filed for legal separation after nearly three years of marriage.

Lamar Sally filed for separation on May 2 in Los Angeles Superior Court. The pair married in August 2011, and Sally’s filing states they are expecting a son who is due in July.

Sally is seeking custody of the child when he is born, with visitation for Shepherd.

The filing also asks a judge to invalidate the couple’s prenuptial agreement based on fraud. It does not provide any further details.
