Malayalam director Jose Thomas reunites with actor Dileep in this weekend’s film

Malayalam director Jose Thomas and actor Dileep come together once again after their last film, Mayamohini, a comedy.
Produced by Jaison Ilamkulam, Sringaravelan, out in the UAE on Thursday, is scripted by duo Uday Krishna and Siby K. Thomas.
Dileep plays Kannan, a weaver’s son, who is sent by his father to pursue a course in fashion designing.
Paired opposite him is Vedhika, last seen in Bala’s Paradesi.
“It’s a family entertainer. I play a Malayali girl who has been brought up in Mumbai,” said Vedhika, who is making her debut in the Malayalam industry. “She returns to her hometown in Kerala where her grandparents live and loses no time in connecting with her roots.”
Of Dileep, she added, “He is an excellent co-star who makes you feel comfortable. It was a great opportunity to work in this industry.”
Other members of the cast include Nedumudi Venu, Joy Mathew, Baburaj, Kalabhavan Shajon and Sreedevi Unni. Berny Ignatius has scored the music for this film.
