Malayalam actress Anupama Parameswaran calls Hyderabad her second home. The Kottayam native who won hearts with her frizzy locks in her debut film Premam has been busy in Telugu cinema. After this year’s Santhamam Bhavati, Parameswaran’s next Telugu film, Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi, releases in the UAE on October 26.
Directed by Kishore Tirumala, VOZ is a story of friendship and love.
Ram Pothineni and Sree Vishnu play Abhiram and Vasu, close friends since childhood. Abhiram is the lead singer of a music band and Pothineni’s rock star look here is cool.
“Abhiram is a positive guy who believes that there is a solution to every thing,” director Tirumala says. “Vasu is a sensitive guy and not very expressive either.”
Parameswaran plays Mahalakhsmi, a surgeon.
“Maha is a contrast to what I am in real life,” said Parameswaran. “She is subtle and mature while I am a talkative and restless person. So I had to work on the finer points of Maha. I consider it the best in my career so far.”
With another heroine Lavanya Tripathi in the story, you wonder if it’s a love triangle, but Tirumala is not going to reveal much. Tripathi is Meghna, a wedding planner. She is a cute and bubbly person, he added.
Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi is Tirumala’s third film and was shot in Vizag, Ooty, Hyderabad, Italy and Araku.
Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music and sung two songs, Trendu Maarina and What Amma What is this Amma, which have become popular.
“VOZ’s positive emotions on love and friendship will entertain the audience. Many will connect with moments from the story,” promised Tirumala.
