Tollywood Thunders won at the finals of the first season of Celebrity Badminton League (CBL), played on November12 at Kuala Lumpur.
In a close contest the team from Telugu cinema defeated the Kerala Royals, (comprising of Malayalam film actors). Karnataka Alps came third and Chennai Rockers were last.
Tollywood Thunders is led by Sudheer Babu. The team players are Tarun Kumar, Nikhil, Kaushal Manda, Anil, Krishna Chaitanya, Sathya Dev, Naveen, Tejasvi Madivada, Sanjana Gilranai and Apoorva Srinivasan.
Naga Chaitanya is the brand ambassador and Charme Kaur the team motivator. This is the first season of CBL that was launched in Kochi this September.
