The teaser of Hridayapoorvam, starring Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, was released recently, offering a glimpse into a film that blends humour, nostalgia and warmth.

The film marks the long-awaited reunion of Mohanlal and acclaimed director Sathyan Anthikad after nearly a decade.

Set in a familiar, family-centric backdrop, the teaser opens with a witty exchange between Mohanlal's character and a college student who declares actor Fahadh Faasil as his favourite. The response, filled with gentle sarcasm, hints at the film’s light-hearted tone and generational humour.

Hridayapoorvam also features a strong ensemble cast including Malavika Mohanan, Sangeeth Prathap, Sangita, Siddique, Nishan, Baburaj, Lalu Alex, and Janardhanan in key roles.

The film’s story is conceived by Akhil Sathyan, while the screenplay and dialogues have been written by Sonu T.P. Music is composed by Justin Prabhakaran, known for his emotionally rich scores.

Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the Aashirvad Cinemas banner, Hridayapoorvam is slated for theatrical release on 28 August 2025.

Meanwhile, the superstar actor also posted the teaser of the movie through his official Instagram handle.
