Rajinikanth in US for medical tests, doing well

Actor Rajinikanth is in the United States for medical tests and will be back in Tamil Nadu soon, his brother said on Monday.

“He will be back before the release of the movie [Kabali], which has been scheduled for July 15,” Sathyanarayana told reporters.

Earlier, Sathyanarayana offered prayers at the Lord Shiva temple in Thanjavur, a Unesco world heritage site, and said his family was indebted to fans for their love and affection for the actor.

“The film is good,” he said about Kabali, adding that “Rajinikanth is doing well.”

Rumours about the actor’s health caused concern among fans, but his publicist said that Rajinikanth was resting in the US.
