Makers claim it is a first-of-its kind initiative in Tamil cinema
The makers of horror film Nadu Iravu have claimed that they completed the shooting of the film in 12 hours, calling it a first-of-its kind initiative in 60 years of Tamil cinema.
“It was tough to complete the shooting starting at 6pm and finishing at 6am the next day,” the film’s director, Puthugai Marisa, was quoted as saying in a press release.
Nadu Iravu, which means midnight, tells of the adventures of three couples staying at a haunted bungalow enroute to a wedding.
Earlier, a Tamil film titled Suyamvaram was shot in 24 hours by various technical teams in 1999.
