Manju Warrier to stage classical dance in Dubai
The South Indian actress will be part of the cultural programme Nadanam 2018 on February 23
Award-winning Malayalam actress Manju Warrier will stage a classical dance performance on February 23 in Dubai, as part of the Nadanam 2018 cultural programme at the Shaikh Rashid Auditorium, Indian High School.
The actress will present a Kuchipudi (Indian classical) dance performance, while percussionist Mattannoor Sankarankutty Marar and classical violinist Sabareesh Prabhaker will perform as well, along with being felicitated at the event.
The event will also screen the documentary Shivam, based on India’s Padma Shri award winner and Koodiyattam (traditional dance form from Kerala) advocate, Kalamandalam Sivan Namboodiri.
Tickets start from Dh100 and are available online. The event starts from 4pm.
