It couldn’t get more thrilling than this. The trailer of director Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam gives a sneak peek at the family of Senapathi, a gangster leader, played by Prakash Raj.

One by one we are introduced to his three sons — Varadan, the eldest played by Arvind Swami; Thyagu, the next son played by Arun Vijay; and Ethi, the youngest son played by Simbu.

With an ensemble cast that includes Jayasudha, Jyotika, Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh, the trailer leaves you speculating.

And the group photo of Senapathi brings to mind an age old classic, The Godfather. The Telugu version is titled Nawab.
