‘Kalavani 2’ brings back Vemal and Oviya

Tamil film ‘Kalavani’ (2010) was a milestone in the career of director A Sargunam and the lead pair Vemal and Oviya.

Nine years later, the team returns with its sequel, ‘Kalavani 2.’

The trailers show Vemal as an aspiring politican whose path is not always the straight one though.

Supported by actors Saranya, Ilavarasu, Mayilsamay and Ganja Karuppu, the antagonist’s role is played by Durai Sudhakar.

‘Kalavani 2’ releases in the UAE on July 5.
