Music composer returns for his second film about failed love
So what if you cannot win the heart of a woman like Trisha, you can always go after Nayanthara assures new filmmaker Adhik Ravichandran with his maiden film, Trisha Illana Nayanthara.
Ravichandran’s story is about failed love, with music composer G V Prakash playing the lead. This is Prakash’s second film, after the Tamil movie Darling.
Trisha Illana Nayanthara traces the lives of Jeeva, from his school days, and the two women in his life. Ananthi, who wowed viewers in Kayal, plays Ramya, Jeeva’s childhood sweetheart. The other woman in Jeeva’s life is Aditi (Manisha Yadav), an Anglo-Indian girl, the kind most young men want to be in love with. Yesteryear’s actress Simran makes a comeback in an interesting role.
Ravichandran, son of assistant director Ravi Kandasamy, said: “I wanted a fresh face for Jeeva, someone with an innocent look. GV fit the bill perfectly.”
Produced by C J Jayakumar, Trisha Illana Nayanthara releases in the UAE on September 17. Prakash has scored the film’s music and its cinematography is by Richard M. Nathan.
