Dubai: South Indian actor Allu Arjun was granted bail on January 3rd by Hyderabad's Nampally court in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case.

A 35-year-old woman died and her son was critically injured during a stampede on December 4 when Allu Arjun's blockbuster 'Pushpa 2' was being screened.

The actor's appearance at the movie's premiere at the Sandhya theatre went awry and allegedly triggered massive crowd control issues.

Following the incident, a case was registered against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management. The actor was also arrested on December 13th in connection with the death of the woman, but later granted interim bail.
